Vincent N. Anderson

Vincent N. Anderson, 94, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

Vincent Nathaniel Anderson was born on February 24, 1920, in Deer Creek, MN to Frank and Hannah Anderson. He grew up and graduated from high school in Deer Creek. After graduating, he served in the United States Air Force. After his service, Vincent graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from MSUM and attended NDSU for his Master’s degree. On January 28, 1944, he married Marjorie Jensen in Underwood, MN. They made their home in Moorhead, MN. They also enjoyed their time on Pelican Lake and winters in Arizona.

Vincent was a business owner of Moorhead Plumbing and Heating and later Beacon Engineering. He also enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. Marjorie died in 1994, and Vincent moved to Alexandria, MN, then to his home on Pelican Lake, and most recently at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo.

Vincent is survived by his daughter, Lynne Rodney Bender, Moorhead; two grandsons, Joseph Bender, Fargo, and Bradley Amber Bender, Detroit Lakes, MN; and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Krysten Bender, Detroit Lakes, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Ross Anderson; and two brothers, Urban and Lawrence Anderson.

Memorial Service: Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Interment: Prairie Home Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
