Violet I. Nelson

Violet was born September 24, 1918, in Fargo, ND, to George and Irene Sierson. She grew up, attended school, and graduated from, Fargo Central. Violet married George Nelson and together they made their home in Fargo. She worked for a time at Shotwell Floral and later at Warner & Company, where she worked until retirement. Violet was an avid reader, card player, and enjoyed watching the Vikings, spending time with sorority sisters, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Violet is survived by her nephews, Pete Claire Fear, Andy Cindy Fear, Steve Fear; grandchildren, Scotty Fear, Jonathan Whitney Fear, Wendi Jason Majerus; and great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Beau and Colton. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, George and Irene; sisters, Verna Fear, Virginia Sierson; and nephews, Larry Fear and Clay Fear.
