Wallace O. ’Wally’ Edwardson

Wally was born May 21, 1926, to Ole and Anna Bothen Edwardson in Fargo, ND. In 1928, they moved to Aneta, ND, to farm. He attended school in Griggs County, ND. After his education, he continued farming until being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1944, where he served eight years. In 1952, he married Vivian McDowell in Fargo. Together they lived in Fargo until 1955. They then moved to Ft. Wayne, IN, where he worked for ITT. In 1966, they moved to Jamestown and Wally worked for the FAA. Vivian passed away in 1977. In 1984, he married Peggy Sather in Hawley, MN. She passed away in 1994. He continued to live in Hawley until 2003, when he moved to Moorhead. Wally is survived by his son, Kevin Cindy of Carpentersville, IL; two grandchildren, Ryan and Jenna; one brother, Glenn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marion; and one brother, Elmer.
