Walter T. "Buddy" Larson, 82, of Hawley, MN, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, North Dakota. Buddy was born September 1, 1927, in Cromwell Township, near Hawley, MN, to Jentoft and Lillian Olson Larson. He grew up and attended school there. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Buddy married EuDell Samuelson on March 3, 1951 in Lake Park, MN. In 1952 they moved to Hawley, MN, where they have since resided. He worked as a Master Plumber for Robert Gibb & Sons for thirty-nine years in the Local Union 300. Buddy enjoyed his potato garden, hunting, fishing, ice fishing and camping. He loved to listen to country music and also enjoyed watching the Twins. He is survived by his wife, EuDell Larson of Hawley, MN; three sons, DeWayne "DeDe" Larson of Hawley, MN, Stewart Larson of Lake Park, MN, and Bryce Char Larson of Hawley, MN; two daughters, Susy Blakeway of Hawley, MN, and Brenda Ron Hehn of Hawley, MN; one brother, Charles Bernie Larson of Lake Park, MN; one sister, Leona Norman of Lake Park, MN; grandchildren, Brock Cindy Blakeway, Marty Abby Blakeway, Jessi Larson; step-granddaughter, Mariah Larson; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Griffin, Barrett, Quincy, Carter, Sawyer and Pearl, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Albert "Abbie" and Ernie Larson, and one sister, Alice Madson.
