William L. Markey Sr.

Bill was born on November 6, 1930 in Moorhead, MN to Wilfred and Bertha Markey. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead. He was married February 24, 1951 in Comstock, MN to Donna Jean Lorentz. Bill worked several jobs as a mechanic and in construction. They made their home in numerous Minnesota cities but lived in Moorhead for the majority of their years together.William is survived by three sons, Michael Julie Markey, Fargo, ND, Lloyd Wanda Markey, Moorhead, MN, William Rena Markey Jr., Sioux City, IA; one daughter, Cindy David Eichler, Cudahy, WI; two sisters, Clarice Delaney, AZ, Evangeline Cntala, Pulaski, TN; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; five brothers; Clark, Lyle, Vern, Jerome, and Dean and one sister, Georgeanne Johnston.
