Wilma Elizabeth Jordan was born July 10, 1920, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, to Harry and Hannah Bohlin Jordan. She grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, graduating from Detroit Lakes High School in 1938. Wilma was united in marriage to Albert Wagner on March 1, 1940 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Following their marriage they lived in Arizona for three years. In 1943 they moved to Barnesville, Minnesota where they farmed. In 1960 they moved to Lake Park, where they continued farming. In 1965 Wilma and Al moved to Fertile where they owned and operated the Fertile Coast to Coast Store, retiring in 1979. Upon their retirement Al and Wilma moved to Big Cormorant Lake and lived there for 10 years until they moved to Detroit Lakes in 1989. For over twenty years they were fortunate enough to spend their winters in Mesa, AZ.Wilma was formerly an organist for Eksjo Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing. She also enjoyed fishing, hardanger, piano, traveling, cooking, canning and baking and most importantly, spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her.She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Albert Wagner of Detroit Lakes, MN; two sons, Mark Barbara Wagner of Lake Park, MN, and Jim Nancy Wagner of Fertile, MN; one daughter, Jacolyn "Jackie" Erickson of Fertile, MN; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Ellen Jordan of Las Vegas, NV.She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter in infancy, and two brothers, Wallace and Herbert Jordan.
