Ashley A. Even

Ashley Even, 37, Fargo, ND passed away peacefully at homeafter a lengthy illness with her family by her side.

She was born in Lisbon, ND. Her family soon moved to Grand Forks and then to Fargo where she attended school. She was a bright and often mischievous child who soon developed a love of animals, swimming, reading and art. These passions grew over the course of her life.

Though she experienced a great deal of illness, she maintained an uncommon grace and cheery disposition and was always looking forward to new experiences or adventures which sometimes included unauthorized use of a display swimming pool at Hot Springs Pools and Spas in Fargo.  She had a talent for making others laugh, understood the importance of the little things in life, and how to find fun all around her. She cherished her friends and family. She was generous with compliments and loved cheering others on. She never let her illness hold her back, nor did she ever feel sorry for herself. She made the most of the life she had.

Ashley was preceded in death, by her grandparents, Lawrence & Ardoth Week and Roger and Mardell Even.

She is survived by her parents, Ginger (Tim) Haaland & David (LeeAnn) Even; brothers, David Even & Phillip Hutchison; step-sisters, Larissa Nattrass, Kalli Hoffmann, Cecilia Boldt, & Suzie Loree; step-brothers, Casey Hutchison & Cameron Haaland; her kitties McLovin’ & Hoops; and many others.

A celebration of life will take place at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN on Saturday, December 18th at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior. Her siblings have set the attire to reflect Ashley’s life and have requested those in attendance to wear purple shirts and jeans. Those who don’t conform will not be turned away, but we will “tsk”.
