Peggy Ann Bremer

Peggy Ann Bremer (Kruse) was born on April 16, 1958 to Frank J. and Rachel E. (Pray) Kruse.  She was born at St. John’s Hospital in Red Lake Falls, MN and went to school at St. Joseph’s Catholic School through 8^th grade. She then graduated from Lafayette High School in 1976 and Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1980 with a BS Degree in Business Education.  While at Moorhead State her work study job at the Livingston Lord Library turned into a life-long career as a Library Technician overseeing some 1000 work-study students maintaining the library collections for over 35 years until she retired in 2015 due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. After selling her home in North Moorhead in 2015 she resided at Riverpoint Assisted Senior Living in Moohead and then spent the last 18 months at Eventide Senior Living in Fargo, ND.   Peggy loved being a wife and mom and spending time with family and friends. She was a committed Catholic and her church family was an important part of her life.  Peggy’s big yard was always lush with many flowers and she enjoyed sharing food and conversation there with her many visitors. Peggy was a loyal Twins fan and enjoyed fishing area lakes. Peggy will be remembered as a caring, compassionate friend who always embraced life’s challenges and raised up those around her.

Peggy is survived by her son Nathan, Tampa FL; her sister Polly (Lyle) Longtin, Fergus Falls; brothers Steven Kruse, partner Chris Beyer Red Lake Falls, MN and Larry Kruse, partner Sandy Johnson Albertville, MN, sister-in-law Sharon Braun, Nashua, MN, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Vance (2001), Father Frank (1976) and mother Rachel Kruse (2004).

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN from 5:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moorhead, MN at 11:00 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Moorhead, MN following the service.
